Cleancut, John Denver singer/songwriter type from the semi-fictional 1976 book, How to Make a Hit Record, by Mike Jahn. He takes his song "Springtime" from coffehouses to a hit single and album. Alas, he's a one-hit wonder.
The book uses real interviews with music industry people to show how the music industry works.
