Played by Marlene Dietrich in the 1940 film Seven Sinners. This cabaret/saloon singer has a rep for inciting fights, and so has been deported from various south Pacific islands to end up on U.S. protectorate Boni Komba. The U.S. Navy personnel stationed there become big fans of her shows at the Seven Sinners café. Especially Lt. Dan Brent (John Wayne); but mobster Antro (Oskar Homolka) has other ideas.
