Quick joke in the "Disco Magazine" feature of teen satire mag Crazy #51 (June 1979).

Their single "I Left My Shoes in San Frandisco" is the number one song in the Top Ten Disco Hits of the Month list, according to Disco Magazine .

The song title is a joke on Tony Bennett's 1962 top twenty hit, "I Left My Heart in San Francisco."

Her name is a reference to the 1954 Ava Gardner film The Barefoot Contessa, about a dancer turned actress who marries a count. And not the celebrity chef show, okay?
