From the 1911 song "Hear the Pickaninny Band, " lyrics by William J. Vanderveer and music by Seymour Furth. The sheet music says "sung with great success by Rose, Young, & Friechman "That Versatile Three."
The sheet music illustrates a marching band of racist stereotypes tragically common to the era. Also, they will be playing an "Old Kentucky" show at Eph's Opera House.
