She gets her big break in the four part "Don't Stop the Music" episode (pt. 1 and 2, January 23, 1994; pt. 3, February 6, 1994; pt. 4, February 13, 1994), where Smash Records head Jade Morgan (Annabelle Gurwitch) invites her to make a video for her song "You Gotta Believe" (off her album ''Lenni''). However, her video shoot keeps getting sabotaged, and the rival label In Your Face Records, headed by Marlon Campbell (Robin Leach!) tries to woo her away.
