From the "Papi Joins the Band" episode (01-17-2007) of animated kids television series Maya & Miguel on PBS. Miguel forms a band, The New Cats with his friends Theo and Andy for a talent show. His dad Santiago, who was in The Chili Cats when he was young, wants to help but comes on too strong and goes from offering advice to being a fourth member of the band and taking over. Miguel has to ask him to back off. One of the contest judges is more successful musician, Willie B. Chill, also a member of The Chili Cats.
Also turned into a book of the same title.
