Jazz pianist from the mid-1950s who died young, from the 2016 novel The Vinyl Detective: Written in Dead Wax by Andrew Cartmel. The Vinyl Detective is hired to track down an original pressing of his rare 1955 album, Easy Come Easy Go on the Hathor label. CD reissues are available, but they always leave off one track for which the master was missing. The missing track features a vocal by jazz singer Rita Mae Pollini. Easy Come, Easy Go was his second album for Hathor, his first was Easy Geary Plays Burns Hobartt (also 1955).
