Nick Agate is a rock singer from Francesca Lia Block's short story "Girl Goddess No. 9" from the 1996 same-titled collection. He seems to be inspired by Nick Cave, and possibly Marilyn Manson. His two fans, the narrators of the story, say that his album, White Goddess, was inspired by a book by Robert Graves.
