Beautiful Jewish singer whose voice isn't quite up to snuff in George Eliot's 1876 novel Daniel Deronda. Her mercenary father tours her around Europe to earn money, but she runs away when she finds out she plans to sell her outright. She and the title character fall in love after he rescues her during a suicide attempt.

She briefly mentions her music teacher, the composer Leo, who appeared as a main character in the Eliot's short play "Armgart" (1871).
