A can't-really-sing novelty singer from comic book Dick Tracy Weekly #29 (January 1988). Mobbed-up Dude the Dapper wants to get out of the rackets, and has groomed Tonsils as his pop-singer/meal ticket. It doesn't work out well, despite his appearance on Dot View's tv show.
His song was "The Rainbow Turned Muddy."
He also appeared in the 1992 Dick Tracy novel Dick Tracy Meets His Match.
